For those joining, it's a chance to help build a new growth engine for Microsoft and shape how the industry moves from delivering technology to delivering outcomes.\nCandidates who live within 50 miles of Microsoft's Redmond campus will be required to work in the office 3 days per week.\nResponsibilities\nThe Change and Adoption / Professional Services team is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and creative Director of Executive Communications.\nIn this role, you will report to the CVP for Change and Adoption / Professional Services and will be responsible for leading both external and internal communications for the team. You will work directly with the CVP and members of their team to drive business impact and thought leadership. This is an opportunity to shape the voice of a leader and a growing organization at the forefront of helping customers turn AI ambition into lasting business outcomes.\nKey responsibilities include:\nDevelop the CVP’s communications strategy and lead execution of scalable plans that drive business impact and help grow the Forward Deployment Engineers (FDE) pipeline.\nDevelop core messaging and narratives that bring the Frontier Co purpose and business priorities to life through creative, proactive storytelling for internal and external audiences. \nShape executive messaging informed by the tech industry, Microsoft’s strategy, products, services, and culture, and build the case for communications recommendations that advance business priorities.\nBuild an internal communications plan that keeps the team connected to its priorities and brings its progress to life for the broader Frontier Co organization and Core and Field teams, as appropriate.\nServe as the single point of contact for the CVP’s internal and external speaking, traditional media, and social media requests. Partner with appropriate teams to triage requests, align them with strategy and team priorities, and ensure the positioning and tone are right for executive engagement.\nCreate and align communications plans to RoB, business priorities and broader Frontier Co communications.\nDevelop and execute a thoughtful social media strategy for the CVP, using an understanding of the social landscape to amplify her voice.\nBuild alignment across teams and functions to advance the CVP’s communications priorities.\nNavigate differing perspectives and resolve issues thoughtfully to keep communications work moving.\nManage competing priorities in a dynamic, evolving environment while maintaining quality and attention to detail.\nHandle sensitive corporate information with discretion and sound judgment.\nOther\nEmbody our culture and values.\nQualifications\nRequired/minimum qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Business, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field AND 6+ years communications, marketing operations, field operations, program management, project management, or related experience OR equivalent experience\n\nAdditional or preferred qualifications\nMaster's Degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Business, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field AND 8+ years communications, marketing operations, field operations, program management, project management, or related experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Business, Marketing, or related field AND 12+ years communications, marketing operations, field operations, program management, project management, or related experience \nOR equivalent experience.\n\n6+ years of experience supporting senior executives in an executive communications role. \n7+ years of executive/internal communications experience, marketing communications or speech management. \nPrevious experience leading project teams and working with senior executives in fast paced, dynamic, often ambiguous environments.\nCommunications IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.\nCertain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
