Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.”\nThis role is primarily based in Redmond, WA, with flexibility to be located in one of Microsoft's approved Central hub locations, including Washington, DC, Phoenix, AZ, Redmond, WA, Atlanta, GA, or San Antonio, TX, subject to business needs.\nThis role requires on-site presence three days per week at the designated work location to support operational needs and team collaboration.\nRelocation support will be provided, and successful candidates must relocate to or reside within 50 miles of their assigned hub office location.\nResponsibilities\nSupport the Global Land Development Cost Lead across AMERS, EMEA and APAC by:\nProviding commercial oversight of Land Development projects, including estimate reviews, regional milestone reviews, tender evaluations, Bills of Quantities (BoQs)/pricing documents, change management, payment applications, cashflow reporting, accruals and financial reviews.\nSupporting Cap Council funding requests, cost reviews, and governance processes, while driving consistency and incorporating leadership feedback.\nConducting compliance reviews and internal audits to ensure adherence to cost management standards, controls, approval requirements, and reporting processes.\nMonitoring portfolio performance through cashflow forecasting, EAC reviews, accruals, change management, and project health assessments.\nDriving process standardization, continuous improvement, and automation initiatives across the global cost function, including the development of dashboards, reporting tools, and cost analytics.\nPartnering with regional cost teams to promote consistency in reporting, governance, best practices, and cost management processes across AMERS, EMEA, and APAC.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field AND 10+ years related experience OR equivalent experience.\n\nWhile not required, we also look for the followingPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying and a minimum of 10 years' relevant experience, including substantial experience delivering data center and civil infrastructure projects.\n\nKnowledge of the pre-construction land development phase, including site due diligence, permitting, environmental considerations, utility infrastructure, off-site works, and enabling activities, is advantageous.\n\nBackground Check Requirements:\nAbility to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
