Set direction and priorities for your area, make the hard trade-offs, and hold the line on scope, sequencing and quality. Ensure consistent delivery excellence through Microsoft methodologies, quality standards and governance. \nPartner closely with engineering, design, research, data science, and business stakeholders to deliver innovative customer-facing solutions. \nEngage customers and partners to understand needs, validate scenarios, gather feedback, and inform product decisions. \nTranslate customer, market, and business opportunities into clear product requirements and execution plans. \nExcel in storytelling, build the business case for investment, size the opportunity, define the success metrics, and defend the plan in leadership, planning and review forums. \nDrive alignment across cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders to achieve shared outcomes. \nPrioritize investments and features based on customer impact, business value, technical feasibility, and strategic goals. \nDefine success metrics, monitor product performance, and communicate results and impact to leadership. \nSupport go-to-market efforts by partnering with marketing, sales, and business teams to drive adoption and customer success. \nFoster a culture of innovation, customer obsession, accountability, and continuous improvement. \nLead and develop product managers through coaching, clear expectations and accountability. Partner with capacity and resource teams to align the right skills to the right work at the right time. Own the professional development of the people in your area, including onboarding, ongoing feedback and career growth, and provide managers with in-depth insight into their performance. \nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development.OR equivalent experience.\n\n3+ years people management experience.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor's Degree AND 10+ years of experience in product management \nExperience leading product managers as a manager, area lead or equivalent with a track record of growing people. \nProven track record of owning a product line or major product area end to end, from strategy through shipping to measured business outcomes. \nDemonstrated success engaging senior customer stakeholders and executives, and turning those conversations into product direction and resolved blockers. \nSolid cross-group influence: able to align engineering, design, research, marketing, sales, support and finance around a shared plan without direct authority. \nExceptional analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; data-driven by default. \nExcellent communication, writing and presentation skills. \nDemonstrated use and adoption of AI in real-life product practices, applying AI agents and tools to research, analysis, specification, prototyping and decision-making, and raising that bar across the team. \nThis position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.\nMicrosoft is an equal opportunity employer.
