Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.\nResponsibilities\nExecute System level end to end debug solutions for @scale datacenter systems.\n\nLead collaboration projects with hardware, firmware and software teams that drive root cause analysis.\n\nAccountable for successful execution of targeted System Level root cause analysis and defect reduction projects.\n\nProvide technical recommendations on diagnostics or debug deployment technologies.\n\nLead debug of complex problems based on technical and business understanding.\n\nDevelop world class at scale debug methodologies, test strategies and test routines in data center solutions.\n\nSolve problems relating to mission critical services and build automation to drive debug efficiency.\n\nEffectively communicate with partners and stakeholders for planning and progress on initiatives using data.\n\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nMaster's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years technical engineering experienceOR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience\nOR equivalent experience \n\nOther Requirements\nSecurity Clearance Requirements: Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:\nThe successful candidate must havean active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Polygraph. To meet this legal requirement, citizenship will be verified via a valid passport, or other approved documents, or verified US government clearance.\nPreferred Qualifications\nDoctorate in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience OR Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience \nOR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience \nOR equivalent experience \n\nDeep understanding of modern computer architectures or System on Chip features like reliability, accessibility and serviceability (RAS) features, virtualization technologies or major architectural blocks like Memory Controllers or Central Processing Units or Storage or Networking solutions for Cloud or Datacenter infrastructures.\nCapable of leading technical deep dives into software solutions used in at scale environments or datacenter infrastructure, cloud native operating systems, or virtualization technologies. \nPlatform or system level debug and validation experience. \nData analytical skills- Knowing how to use large scale data and analytical tools. \nEffective communication skills using various forms of media. \nAble to plan work AND work to a plan, adapting as necessary, in a rapidly evolving environment. \nIndividual effectiveness skills such as discipline, time management, decision making, planning, and organizing work, summarizing results through technical reports.\nHardware Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $160,200 - $261,000 per year.\nCertain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
