This is your chance to bring your solutions and ideas to life while working on cutting-edge technology.\nResponsibilities\nWork onsite at our datacenters in Melbourne\nPerform assigned tasks and escalate issues during high-volume work activity.\nAnalyzes causes of service implementation policy faults or degradation and recommends improvement plans.\nImplements service implementation policy plan improvements as directed for Data Center business unit(s).\nCoordinate with suppliers to initiate warranty claims and process failed vendor hardware devices.\nMaintain up-to-date and accurate information within various inventory management systems.\nEnsure detailed physical inventory tracking and staging.\nHelp reconcile and report inventory discrepancies.\nPerform destruction of data-bearing devices following all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Microsoft policies.\nComply with security and data management policies.\nQualifications\nEligibility\nHigh School Diploma, or equivalent.\nBasic knowledge of Asset/Inventory/Logistics/Supply Chain. \nCurrently studying towards a qualification in Warehousing, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.\nYou need to be an Australian National or residency with eligibility to work in Australia. \nBackground Check Requirements:\nAbility to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:\nMicrosoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nApplicable certifications (Logistics or Supply Chain or Asset Management).\nAbility to support frequent standing, walking, lifting, and working at heights with or without equipment assistance.\nAble to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.\nProficient in written and oral English communication to support regional and global teams.\nDesire to learn, grow, and develop new technical skills.\nFlexibility to work non-standard business hours that may include weekends and/or holidays.\nThis position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.\nMicrosoft is an equal opportunity employer.
