Come and join us in CO+I and be at the forefront of the action!\nResponsibilities\nAs a Metro Build Program Manager, your success will be measured by: \nData Center Build Operations\nEstablish positive working relationships with construction stakeholders\nAttend all metro new build, expansion and retrofit project related design, construction, and commissioning meetings\nBe the liaison between Construction and Operations (be the voice for Operations) and escalate any issues that could cause impact\nParticipate in all Construction/Operations walkthroughs, as well as routine construction inspections during the builds\nCoordinate and execute turnover operations, ensure turnover checklist is completed and validated, and all turnover artifacts are delivered on time\nDocument and report lessons learned from each project\nService Delivery\nBalance leadership, influence skills, supportive individual contributions, project management, and expertise in enterprise-level operations\nMonitor services and KPIs, OKRs, SLAs, and OLAs and report trends and service anomalies\nKeep track of all the latest and upcoming key milestones and deliverables\nLead key processes, such as team and triage meetings, prioritizes work across the team, and rebalances priorities to respond to changes\nStandardize infrastructure equipment, processes, and workflows through design, construction, and turnover of these world class facilities \nAssist with new facility design & commissioning, coordinating to installation of core network infrastructures\nData Center Work Environment:\nShare best practices, assists others in learning role, process, procedures, and mentors others\nPromote a culture of safety, security, and compliance in all aspect of datacenter activities\nRealize the impact of change on others\nLearn, live, and coach the One Microsoft culture and values. \nLead through change by bringing clarity, generating energy, and delivering success\nEmbody our culture and values\nOwnership\nIn alignment with management priorities, hold self accountable for the end-to-end service quality, completeness, and resulting customer experience (including but not limited to availability, safety, security, customer service)\nSupport escalation of issues to appropriate owner\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications:\nHigh School Qualification or equivalent AND 3+ years' experience supporting IT equipment or related technology or delivering server and network deployment projects in large-scale environments OR equivalent experience \nOther Requirements:\nAbility to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:\nMicrosoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor's or Technical College Degree in Computer Science, Math, Telecommunications, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field AND 8+ years experience in critical environment infrastructures (e.g., UPS, Generator, AHU), or working in physical IT infrastructures (e.g., Servers, SANs, Networking, Capacity, DC Rack/Enclosures, structured cabling) OR High School Qualification or equivalent AND 10+ years experience in critical environment infrastructures (e.g., UPS, Generator, AHU), or working in physical IT infrastructures (e.g., Servers, SANs, Networking, Capacity, DC Rack/Enclosures, structured cabling) OR equivalent experience\n\nApplicable certifications: APICS/Inventory Control, CompTIA, Microsoft, Network Certifications, CCNA Certifications, ITIL v3 Foundation, Microsoft Operations Framework (MOF) Certifications\n\n3+ years’ experience in Critical Environment infrastructures (e.g., UPS, Generator, AHU) or working in physical IT infrastructures (e.g., Servers, SANs, Networking, Capacity, DC Rack/Enclosures, structured cabling)\nData Center Operations Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $102,600 - $202,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,500 - $225,800 per year.\nCertain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
