Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.\nThis is a highly influential position reporting to the Regional Director, Construction and Design Safety.\nPosition location is in Vaasa, Finland and will be a site-based role supporting construction and lease projects in this metro.\nResponsibilities\nDrive initiatives with a high degree of accountability, adaptability, and urgency, ensuring timely execution of priorities and successful delivery of outcomes.\n\nBuild and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across functions and organizational levels to support decision making and drive business objectives.\n\nInfluence and align stakeholders, including leaders, to support strategic initiatives and promote continuous improvement.\n\nDevelop, analyze, and communicate performance metrics, dashboards, and scorecards to monitor progress and enable data-driven decision making.\n\nLead multiple high-priority projects simultaneously, ensuring deliverables are completed on schedule and in alignment with business requirements.\n\nProvide leadership and direction to teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and successful execution in a fast-paced environment.\n\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant professional experience and/or industry certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.\n\nExperience in safety, environmental health and safety, or related roles, with demonstrated experience managing a broad range of risks across multiple sites, including operations within Finland or other European locations.\n\nWorking knowledge of OSHA regulations and applicable regulatory and industry safety standards relevant to construction and operational activities in Finland.\n\nExperience implementing health and safety programs in construction environments, aligned with global standards and local regulatory requirements.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nCertification as a construction EHS Professional such as IOSH or BCSP\n\nDemonstrated experience and success with delivering cross functional programs, including ownership, and driving results.\n\nExperience in Mission Critical project delivery and large civil / Building projects.\n\nBackground Check Requirements:\nAbility to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
