Partner Development Manager

Leads long-range strategic vision for high-impact, multi model, complex partners across segments. Builds trusted-advisor relationships with C-suite partner leaders, aligns partner priorities with Microsoft strategy, identifies market opportunities, leads business-design briefings, coaches partners on consumption and growth targets, drives GTM/co-selling strategies, supports partner readiness, and resolves complex partner escalations.
Responsibilities
- Build and own trusted C-suite partner relationships; align partner and Microsoft priorities into mutually beneficial account plans.
- Create long-range strategic vision for complex partners and communicate Microsoft’s value proposition to key business decision makers.
- Identify portfolio patterns, market opportunities, capability gaps, and investment areas for partner growth.
- Lead partner skills, capability, and capacity planning; drive learning culture, Centers of Excellence, and revenue conversion.
- Lead business-design briefings and strategic partner business plans aligned to GPS priorities, cloud consumption, and digital transformation.
- Develop partner recruitment plans to expand or balance the partner portfolio and fill market opportunities.
- Resolve complex and urgent escalations; orchestrate internal Microsoft response and advocate for partner priorities.
- Ensure partners build world-class sales and technical teams with the right talent, readiness, incentives, and transformation plans.
- Lead GTM campaigns, incentives, launch readiness, Marketplace offers, and marketing plans with partner teams.
- Coach partners on pipeline, top deals, consumption targets, digital transformation, sales motions, MSX opportunity progression, and forecasting.
- Develop GTM and co-selling strategies for complex partners to drive Microsoft and partner sales goals.
Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Operations, Computer Science or a related field AND 8+ years experience in partner management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in the technology industry or related experience OR equivalent experience.
Additional or preferred qualifications
Master's Degree in Business Administration, Business Science, or an advanced degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) or a related field AND 10+ years experience in partner management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in the technology industry or related experience OR equivalent experience.
