You will bring labour-market insight and an operations perspective to planning, working closely with the existing workforce planning and talent pipeline role that delivers against current commitments with HR and Global Talent Acquisition (GTA)\nResponsibilities\nInform site and market decisions\nPartner with site selection, capacity planning, and land and development teams to consider talent availability and labour cost alongside power, land and connectivity.\nAssess prospective markets for skills supply, competition, pay and the time needed to staff a site.\nWork with Energy, Construction/Build and Corporate/Government Affairs to anticipate workforce needs in new markets.\nBring an operations perspective to early planning so people constraints are considered before decisions are made.\nBuild workforce readiness into capacity plans\nIntegrate hiring lead times into capacity plans so recruitment can begin ahead of operational milestones.\nPartner with Finance and capacity planning on funding, decision points and governance for early headcount release.\nDevelop staffing models and skills profiles for emerging facilities, including GPU and high-density AI sites.\nTurn long-range capacity scenarios into clear workforce recommendations.\nShape a competitive compensation approach\nPartner with Compensation & Benefits to inform pay strategy for EMEA datacenter roles.\nDevelop consistent, evidence-based approaches for new site launches, scarce skills and critical retention.\nBuild market evidence and business cases to support policy decisions with HR, Finance and CELA.\nGrow future talent supply\nWork with GTA and HR on employer presence and sourcing approaches in future markets.\nBuild partnerships with education providers and industry bodies to strengthen datacenter skills pipelines.\nCollaborate with public bodies and industry partners on skills programmes linked to new investments.\nHelp shape career and capability frameworks for datacenter operations.\nConnect strategy and delivery\nAlign workforce priorities across CO+I, HR, Finance, Compensation & Benefits, GTA and CELA.\nPresent labour-market, pay and talent risks as clear choices for leaders.\nBring cross-functional teams together to develop and adopt new approaches.\nKeep long-term strategy connected to near-term delivery through close partnership with the workforce planning and talent pipeline role.\nHow you’ll work\nYou’ll bring curiosity to emerging challenges, build trust across teams, create clarity from complex information and stay accountable for outcomes.\nQualifications\nRequired\nA bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, operations or a related field and substantial relevant experience in strategy, programme management, workforce planning or business operations; or equivalent practical experience.\nExperience influencing senior stakeholders across organisations without direct authority.\nStrong analytical skills, including the use of workforce, labour-market or financial information to inform decisions.\nAbility to turn complex analysis into clear recommendations for senior audiences.\nAbility to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.\nPreferred\nExperience in datacenters or other critical infrastructure, capacity planning, site selection or expansion planning.\nUnderstanding of labour markets across multiple EMEA countries, including relevant employment frameworks and employee-representation arrangements.\nExperience contributing to compensation strategy or reward policy.\nExperience developing education partnerships or public-sector skills programmes.\nData Center Operations Management M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across Ireland is € 106,300.00 - € 188,800.00 per year.
