Managers are expected to lead through expertise, vision, trust, and shared accountability, with people-management activities supporting the work rather than becoming the primary focus of the role.\nResponsibilities\nLead and develop a team of threat intelligence analysts.\n\nProvide analytical and technical leadership across threat actor tracking and investigations.\n\nDrive high-quality threat intelligence outcomes by helping the team prioritize investigations, intelligence requirements, gaps, and emerging threats.\n\nMaintain strong awareness of the threat landscape and help the team anticipate changes in adversary behavior, tradecraft, and targeting.\n\nGuide analysts through investigation reviews, analytical discussions, and feedback on intelligence products and deliverables.\n\nEnsure clarity of priorities and accountability for high-quality analytical outputs.\n\nIdentify blockers, capability gaps, and opportunities to improve the team's effectiveness and threat coverage.\n\nPartner across Microsoft security organizations and with relevant technical, intelligence, product, and leadership stakeholders.\n\nCoach and develop team members through day-to-day analytical work, feedback, and career development.\n\nFoster a collaborative, inclusive environment that encourages intellectual curiosity, analytical rigor, and continuous learning.\n\nQualifications\nYou have 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity research, threat intelligence or a related security research discipline. \n3+ years of experience managing and developing security researchers, threat intelligence analysts, or other cybersecurity professionals.\n\nStrong understanding of sophisticated cyber threat actors, their tactics, techniques, procedures, and operational behaviors.\n\nExperience conducting or leading complex security investigations and translating technical findings into actionable intelligence.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Hebrew, with the ability to communicate effectively with both deeply technical audiences and senior stakeholders.\n\nAbility to collaborate across organizational and geographic boundaries.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nDeep expertise in nation-state or other advanced threat actor research.\n\nExperience with large-scale/cloud security telemetry and data-driven threat investigation.\n\nExperience translating threat intelligence into security, product, customer, or strategic outcomes.\n\nExperience working across global, distributed teams.\n\nDemonstrated ability to influence across teams without relying on direct authority.\n\nStrong analytical judgment and the ability to make prioritization decisions in a dynamic threat environment. \n\nThis position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.\nMicrosoft is an equal opportunity employer.
