Our team works across all facets of isolated system engineering but we are responsible for a large diversity of technologies and challenges, including process automation, Wide Area networking design, operations and implementation, physical fiberoptic cables, how to route packets across a global network as fast as possible, DNS, protection against DDoS, and many other problems.\nWe need your help overcoming these challenges. Participates in on-call duties and mentors others.\nContributes to incident response across teams, ensures quality postmortems, and analyzes historical data to identify and prioritize recurring issues.\nLeverages data to assess impact, identify trends, and drive decisions that enhance network performance and customer experience.\nNetwork Design and Implementation\nHandle Layer 3 technologies, including IPv4, BGP, OSPF, IPv6, ECMP. Apply technical knowledge of enterprise networking solutions for very large environments, at scale (e.g., MPLS/BGP, IS-IS, routing, switching, SDN/NFV, EVPN VXLAN), and have knowledge of SD-WAN technologies.\nSupports design and security reviews to prevent issues pre-release, using expertise in network implementation, telemetry, and root cause analysis.\nCollaborates across teams to develop scalable, high-performance network designs and independently create design and implementation plans.\nSupporting People and Execution\nShares information effectively across teams, manages dependencies, and seeks feedback and mentorship.\nEmbody our culture and values.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications:\nDoctorate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years technical experience in network design, development, and automation OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 4+ years technical experience in network design, development, and automation OR equivalent experience.\nOther Requirements:\nSecurity Clearance Requirements: Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:\nThe successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation(SSBI) with Polygraph.
