Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.\nResponsibilities\nA strong desire and capability to learn, grow, and develop new skills. \nEmpower a culture of safety, security, and compliance in all aspect of data center activities. \nWork with commissioning teams to properly test and validate installation, operation, and performance of electrical systems. \nUnderstand the design and functionality of your datacenter. \nSupport 24x7x365 on-site datacenters operations and electrical infrastructure. \nAct as the technical authority for on-site operations related to a large-scale mission critical electrical system, design, and functionality. \nEstablish and coordinate maintenance and safety procedures, maintaining highly redundant electrical designs. \nManaging the electrical infrastructures throughout datacenter campus ranging from a single large capacity facility, to several smaller ones.\nQualifications\nRequired/minimum qualifications:\nMaster's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years technical engineering experienceOR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience\nOR equivalent experience.\n\nMust be registered as a P. Eng. in the province of Ontario.\nBackground Check Requirements:\nAbility to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:\nMicrosoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter\nThe successful candidate currently has the ability to obtain Reliability Status screening from a duly authorized department or agency of the Government of Canada.
