You will set technical direction for major components of that platform and raise the engineering bar for the team around you.\nThis is infrastructure engineering with a direct line to the product. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.\nResponsibilities\nLead the design, development, and operation of the platform services and APIs that provision, scale, and secure containerized compute for Agent 365 and Dynamics workloads.\n\nDrive architecture and technical strategy for hosting on Azure Container Instances, Service Fabric, and Azure Kubernetes Service, including migrations between hosting models.\n\nOwn components of the networking, identity, and isolation layers of the platform - virtual network integration, subnet delegation, managed identity, and container isolation - and hold them to Microsoft's security and compliance bar.\n\nOwn features and components end to end in a DevOps model, from design through deployment, rollout, and live-site support, and break large, ambiguous problems into workstreams the team can execute.\n\nParticipate in the on-call rotation, drive mitigation of live site production incidents, and own root cause analysis and post-incident reviews through to repair items.\n\nUse telemetry, logging, and monitoring to drive data-informed decisions on reliability, performance, capacity, and infrastructure cost.\n\nPartner with peer teams across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Copilot to align on platform requirements, feature development, and onboarding new scenarios.\n\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR equivalent experience.\n\nOther Requirements:\nAbility to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:\nMicrosoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python \nOR equivalent experience. \n\nDeep hands-on experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and with Azure compute services such as AKS, Azure Container Instances, Service Fabric, or Virtual Machine Scale Sets.\nExperience with Microsoft stack technologies, particularly C#, .NET, and core Azure platform services.\nExperience with infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and safe deployment practices (for example ARM or Bicep templates and Azure DevOps pipelines).\nExperience with Azure networking concepts including virtual networks, DNS, and load balancing.\nTrack record operating high-availability services, including on-call ownership, incident command, and root cause analysis.\nExperience with large-scale observability and diagnostics tooling, such as distributed tracing, metrics, and log analytics.\nExperience with generative AI, agentic workloads, or LLM/ML systems, and an interest in the infrastructure problems they create.\nDemonstrated technical leadership across teams, including design reviews, mentoring engineers, and driving multi-quarter platform work to completion.\n#CAP #A365 #Agent365\nSoftware Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year.
