In this role, you will work alongside leading Data Scientists, Engineers, and researchers to develop innovative solutions with real-world impact. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.\nResponsibilities\nDesign and implement cloud architectures that support our data science and experimentation projects.\n\nDesign and develop cloud-based solution for applied AI scenarios\n\nIndependently use appropriate artificial intelligence (AI) tools and practices across the software development lifecycle (SDLC) in a disciplined manner.\n\nProvide thought leadership for technical architecture design, development, and deployment to support customer/partners data science scenarios. Identify technical blockers to accelerate architecture implementations and route non-technical issues for removal by the appropriate party.\n\nShare ideas, insight, and technical input using a working knowledge of Azure architectures and other relevant products.\n\nParticipate in security peer reviews to identify and mitigate risks, including code reviews and threat modeling.\n\nSupport team functions by resolving service issues, providing technical guidance and assistance to users, conducting investigations, and creating documentation.\n\nRepresent our capabilities and product offerings to internal and external leadership audiences, both technical and non-technical. Help advance the research agenda for AI For Good initiatives.\n\nEmbody our culture and values \nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.\nAdditional or Preferred Qualifications\nMaster's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.\nExperience with Azure AI services, and/or TensorFlow and/or PyTorch.\nExperienced agile practitioner with experience in Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) and/or REST. \n\"Hands on\" Experience creating Proof of Concepts, Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) for customers that lead to production deployments. \nSoftware Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $160,200 - $261,000 per year.\nCertain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
