You’ll also provide make-vs.-buy recommendations and create multiple complex product designs.\nDevelop and implement technical solutions to complex quality and design challenges. You’ll also cross check silicon chip architecture, use performance instrumentation, and write performance simulators.\nWrite more complex test cases, execute test plans for complex features or products, and create external testing supplier plans. You’ll also develop advanced prototype components to identify highly complex problems in a range of features.\nYou will create a single project implementation schedule and help determine resources needed for the hardware engineering of complex features or products. You’ll also identify significant project risks and communicate progress to internal and external teams.\nDevelop and review training materials, and coordinate training You’ll also write device specification sheets and interpret complex details required to design various hardware features. \nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications:\nMaster's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience \nOR equivalent experience\n\nOther Requirements:\nAbility to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nDoctorate in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 3+ years technical engineering experienceOR Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience\nOR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience\nOR equivalent experience\n\n4+ years of experience in UVM (Universal Verification Methodolgy)/System Verilog.\nExperience with Git for revision control is a plus.\nExperience with scripting languages such as Python, Pearl, Shell or other related technologies is a plus.\nKnowledgable in IP, Subsystem, and/or full chip verification workflows or ASIC/FPGAs.\nHardware Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $160,200 - $261,000 per year.\nCertain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
