We value engineers who are curious, take ownership, engage directly with customers and enjoy solving hard problems in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.\nIf you're excited by cloud and AI and want to shape how millions of people and organisations work with intelligent agents, we'd love to hear from you.\nResponsibilities\nCollaborates with appropriate stakeholders to determine user requirements for a scenario.\n\nDrives identification of dependencies and the development of design documents for a product, application, service, or platform.\n\nCreates, implements, optimizes, debugs, refactors, and reuses code to establish and improve performance and maintainability, effectiveness, and return on investment (ROI).\n\nLeverages subject-matter expertise of product features and partners with appropriate stakeholders (e.g., project managers) to drive a workgroup's project plans, release plans, and work items.\n\nActs as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) and guides other engineers by developing and following the playbook, working on call to monitor system/product/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions, alerting stakeholders about status and initiates actions to restore system/product/service for simple and complex problems when appropriate.\n\nProactively seeks new knowledge and adapts to new trends, technical solutions, and patterns that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale.\n\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.\n4+ years of professional software development experience.\nHands-on experience with C++ and/or C#, along with exposure to big data, machine learning (ML), natural language processing (NLP) and search technologies.\nStrong analytical skills, with experience in customer engagement and cross-functional collaboration.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Cloud services (Azure, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft 365).\nSecurity awareness, including penetration testing and threat analysis.\nOther Requirements\nAbility to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements is required for this role.
