Fabric’s unified integration experience simplifies how customers bring data together, ensuring it is trusted, usable, and ready to power analytics, real-time insights, and AI scenarios.\nThe Fabric Data Integration team is currently seeking DevOps Engineer - Azure/Fabric with expertise in Azure DevOps, CI/CD, PowerShell/Python, infrastructure automation, Git, Azure deployment technologies, monitoring, and troubleshooting. The role will focus on automating ADF and Microsoft Fabric region/cloud buildouts, building scalable deployment pipelines, improving operational reliability, and driving zero-touch automation. Experience with Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Airflow, ARM/Bicep, networking, identity, and multi-region cloud deployments is preferred.\nResponsibilities\nKey Responsibilities\nCI/CD & Release Engineering\nBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git-based workflows.\nAutomate build, validation, deployment, and post-deployment verification.\nSupport safe promotion of changes across development, test, and production environments.\nImprove deployment reliability through automated validation and quality gates.\nRegion & Cloud Buildout Automation\nAutomate infrastructure and service onboarding for new Azure regions and sovereign clouds.\nIdentify manual deployment steps and convert them into repeatable, zero-touch automation.\nDevelop reusable scripts/tools for pre-buildout, buildout, validation, and post-buildout activities.\nSupport ADF, ADMS, Fabric DI, and Airflow deployment workflows.\nInfrastructure & Automation\nDevelop automation using PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI, REST APIs, ARM/Bicep or equivalent infrastructure-as-code technologies.\nManage configuration across environments and regions.\nBuild automated health checks and deployment validation mechanisms.\nImprove scalability and repeatability of infrastructure provisioning.\nReliability & Troubleshooting\nTroubleshoot deployment, configuration, networking, authentication, certificate, and infrastructure issues.\nPerform root-cause analysis and develop automation to prevent repeat failures.\nImprove monitoring, diagnostics, alerting, and operational readiness.\nParticipate in production/live-site investigations and drive issues to closure.\nEmbody our culture and values\nQualifications\nRequired/Minimum Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to C#, Java, React, or Python •OR equivalent experience. \nExperience in data integration or migrations or ELT or ETL tooling is mandatoryStrong experience with Azure DevOps / CI-CD pipelines\n\nPowerShell and/or Python scripting\nGit and branch/PR workflows\nAzure infrastructure and deployment concepts\nInfrastructure as Code and deployment automation\nREST APIs and automation tooling\nStrong debugging and troubleshooting skills\nMonitoring, logging, and incident investigation experience\nKubernetes/AKS and container technologies\nOther Requirements\nAbility to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
