Leverage telemetry and usage analytics to understand customer behavior and inform product decisions.\nCollaborate cross-functionally across stakeholders, product managers, and other engineers to deliver integrated, customer-focused experiences.\nContribute to the evolution of Microsoft’s data platforms through technical feedback and innovation.\nChampion a culture of diversity, inclusion, customer obsession, and continuous learning.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExposure to Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms, such as GCP or AWS.\nFamiliarity with AI/ML fundamentals, tools such as Azure ML or OpenAI, or data analytics workflows.\nUnderstanding of version control systems, such as Git, and DevOps practices.\nPower Automate / Azure Logic Apps for light data movement or workflow automation.\nAPI development and consumption to integrate external datasets into Microsoft solutions.\nCuriosity, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for solving real-world customer problems.\n5+ years of programming experience in one or more languages or technologies, including:Core DevelopmentC# / .NET Core\nTypeScript / JavaScript\nDAX\nPower Fx\nT-SQL\nHTML / CSS\n\nLight Data EngineeringPower Query / M Language\nFabric Data Pipelines\nPython\nSynapse Serverless SQL\nData modeling principles, including star/snowflake schemas and semantic layer creation\nAzure Storage / Azure Data Lake Gen2\n\nSoftware Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $102,100 - $202,200 per year.
