We expect all team members to bring customer obsession, continuous learning, and product and engineering excellence to their work every day.\nResponsibilities\nResponsibilities for this role include different aspects of designing and building features for an Azure service - such as prototyping, developing resource providers, authoring Azure portal extensions, building integration data plane, handling live site issues, driving security compliance etc. You will have opportunities to work across the stack to build new Azure services. We expect all engineers to write high-quality code and own the end-to-end test and DevOps lifecycle. You will build components to meet security, privacy, reliability, compliance, and performance needs.\nIf the above sounds challenging and exciting, we’d love to talk to you.\nQualifications\nRequired:\nBA/BS or higher degree in Computer Science or equivalent field\n\n4+ years of industry experience building and shipping software using modern programming languages such as C#, C++, Java, Go or Python\n\nStrong software design, coding, and problem-solving skills\n\nCustomer obsession and passion for shipping high quality products\n\nSelf-driven, can work independently and capable of dealing with ambiguity\n\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills\n\nPreferred:\nExperience working in a Linux environment and/or with Open-Source projects is a plus\n\nExperience with cloud infrastructure such as Azure, AWS or GCP\n\nExperience supporting live site services\n\nExperience with Docker and DevOps tools and processes\n\nExperience working with Resource provider, Azure portal, Azure Security and compliance of existing Azure services is a big plus\n\nOther Requirements\nAbility to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
