It collects customer feedback, turns it into actionable Azure DevOps work items, and supports intelligent routing, prioritization and direct communication so issues get resolved efficiently.In parallel, the Visual Studio Subscriptions platform gives customers access to Visual Studio and a broad range of developer tools, cloud services, software, training and support benefits for subscribers and participants in programs such as MPN, MCT, FTE and Alumni.\nYou will build and operate Azure services with broad business impact, apply AI to engineering, customer and operational scenarios, and own features end to end. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.\nResponsibilities\nDesign and develop features for Visual Studio subscriptions and benefits.\nBuild and improve the Developer Community platform to strengthen engagement between customers and Visual Studio engineers.\nDesign and build AI-powered features and automation for customer, engineering and operational scenarios.Use AI-assisted engineering tools effectively across development, debugging, testing and operational workflows.\nBuild data-driven features and automation that improve operational efficiency and customer engagement.\nMonitor, troubleshoot and operate secure, reliable production services.\nDrive engineering quality through design and code reviews, testing, CI/CD and collaboration with Microsoft partner teams. \nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field AND technical engineering experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript or Python, OR equivalent experience.\nProfessional software engineering experience building and operating production systems. (Software Engineer level: early-career candidates with strong fundamentals and relevant internship or project experience are welcome.)\nAbility to own problem areas and deliver results with minimal direction.Good collaboration and communication skills in English.\nPractical experience using AI-assisted development tools and the ability to apply AI effectively in software engineering workflows.\nPreferred Qualifications\n- Master's degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience.\n- Experience with Azure services.\n- Web development skills (ASP.NET, React, etc.).\n- Experience with AI/ML technologies, including generative AI, large language models or building AI-powered applications and services.\n- Experience with SQL and Kusto.\nOther Requirements\nAbility to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
