You will work with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Chat, Copilot Studio and AI agents, alongside collaboration and cloud desktop solutions such as Microsoft Teams and Windows 365, to turn education priorities into practical outcomes.\nYou will lead consultative conversations with senior education leaders, build clear business cases, and bring together colleagues and partners to help institutions move from early AI exploration to confident, organisation-wide adoption. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.\nResponsibilities\nLead consultative conversations with education leaders - including vice-chancellors, principals, chief information officers, chief operating officers, heads of teaching and learning, and education department executives - to show how AI can support their strategic priorities.\n\nAct as a trusted advisor, aligning AI solutions to institutional goals such as educator wellbeing and workload, student success and retention, research excellenceand operational efficiency.\n\nBuild compelling business cases that quantify time saved, improved outcomes and return on investment, and help customers secure funding and approval through their governance and procurement processes.\n\nGuideinstitutions on responsible and safe AI use, including data privacy, student safety, accessibility, academic integrityand alignment with national and state frameworks for AI in education.\n\nFacilitate envisioning workshops and hands-on sessions that help staff identifyhigh-value use cases, from lesson planning and feedback to enrolment, student servicesand finance.\n\nHelp customers design and scale AI agents that streamline everyday processes for staff and students.\n\nBuild and manage a healthy pipeline of opportunities, forecast accuratelyand move opportunities from interest to commitment with pace and clarity.\n\nDrive adoption and value after purchase, partnering with customer success and technical colleagues to make sure solutions are used well and deliver measurable impact.\n\nWork closely with account teams, technical specialists, partnersand marketing to create demand through events, workshopsand education community programmes.\n\nConnect AI opportunities to related solutions across security, cloud, devicesand business applications to give customers a joined-up experience.\n\nShare insights and success stories with your team and the wider education community, andhelp colleagues grow their AI expertise.\n\nAct with integrity, complete required trainingand raise risks early.\n\nQualifications\nRequired qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in information technology, business, education or a related field AND 4+ years of experience in technology-related sales, account managementor consulting; OR equivalent experience.\n\nPreferred qualifications\n6+ years of experience in technology solution sales, consultingor account management, ideally including work with education, researchor public sector organisations.\n\nExperience building pipeline, forecastingand leading complex opportunities that involve many stakeholders.\n\nHands-on experience with generative AI tools (such as Microsoft 365 Copilot), and an understanding of AI concepts, agents and how AI is applied in day-to-day work.\n\nUnderstanding ofthe education sector - how institutions are funded, governed and makedecisions, and the challenges facing educators, studentsand professional staff.\n\nFamiliarity with responsible AI principles, data privacyand student safety considerations in education.\n\nStrong communication, storytellingand facilitation skills, with the confidence to engage senior leaders and frontline educators alike.\n\nA growth mindset: curious, collaborativeand keen to keep learning in a rapidly evolving field.\n\nThis position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.\nMicrosoft is an equal opportunity employer.
