This role provides an opportunity to influence large-scale national initiatives, contribute to Singapore's digital transformation journey, and shape Microsoft's Data & AI strategy.\nResponsibilities\nCustomer Strategy & Industry Leadership\nBuild trusted advisor relationships with CIOs, CDAOs, Enterprise Architects, and technology leaders across Singapore Government agencies.\nLead strategic conversations around data modernization, AI transformation, analytics, governance, and digital innovation.\nDevelop account-level technical strategies aligned to customer business priorities, mission outcomes, and national digital initiatives.\nBring industry and public sector insights to help customers identify opportunities and address emerging challenges.\nData & AI Solution Design\nDesign end-to-end architectures spanning data ingestion, integration, storage, governance, analytics, business intelligence, and AI workloads.\nArchitect scalable, secure, and compliant solutions leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, Azure AI Foundry, Power BI, Microsoft Purview, and related cloud services.\nGuide customers in selecting appropriate architectures, patterns, and best practices to meet performance, security, and operational requirements.\nLead technical design reviews and solution validation activities.\nTechnical Engagements & Executive Workshops\nDeliver executive briefings, envisioning workshops, strategy sessions, architecture reviews, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements.\nFacilitate discovery sessions to understand customer challenges, technical landscapes, and transformation objectives.\nTranslate complex technical concepts into business outcomes and actionable roadmaps for both technical and executive audiences. \nAI Transformation Leadership\nAct as a thought leader on emerging Data & AI technologies, helping agencies identify and prioritize high-value use cases.\nDrive adoption of modern analytics, generative AI, intelligent applications, and agentic AI solutions.\nGuide customers through responsible AI, governance, security, and compliance considerations required within regulated public sector environments.\nTechnical Sales Leadership\nPartner with account teams to identify, qualify, and accelerate strategic opportunities.\nInfluence technical decision-making and support complex opportunity pursuit, competitive positioning, and executive stakeholder engagement.\nContribute to business growth through technical strategy, architectural leadership, and customer success outcomes. \nCommunity & Practice Development\nShare best practices, reusable assets, reference architectures, and industry insights across the Microsoft technical community.\nMentor peers and contribute to technical readiness programs.\nMaintain deep subject matter expertise in Microsoft Data & AI technologies and evolving market trends.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\n8+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution architecture, technical consulting, enterprise architecture, or cloud solution engineering.\nOR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline AND 6+ years of relevant experience.\nExperience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data and analytics solutions.\nDemonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas:Data Platforms & Analytics\nData Warehousing & Lakehouse Architectures\nBusiness Intelligence & Visualization\nData Governance & Information Management\nArtificial Intelligence & Machine Learning\nCloud Data Modernization\n\nExperience engaging executive stakeholders and leading customer-facing technical conversations.\nExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working with Singapore Government agencies, statutory boards, or highly regulated industries.\nExpertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, Power BI, Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Purview, and related Microsoft technologies.\nStrong understanding of public sector security, governance, privacy, and compliance requirements.\nExperience leading architecture design workshops and value-led consultative engagements.\nProven ability to influence technical and business decision makers across large organizations.\nExperience delivering AI, analytics, or enterprise data transformation programs.\nRelevant Microsoft certifications in Data, Analytics, AI, Cloud Architecture, or Security.\nDesign Thinking, innovation workshop, or business value consulting experience.\nThis position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.\nMicrosoft is an equal opportunity employer.
