You will work with some of Denmark’s most ambitious organisations, helping them modernise their data platforms, prepare their data for AI and turn new technology into measurable business outcomes.\nThis is not a traditional pre-sales role. You will combine deep technical expertise with creativity, commercial understanding and a hands-on approach. You will engage directly with customers, shape technical strategy and prove what is possible through architecture workshops, demonstrations, rapid prototyping, proofs of concept and collaborative build engagements.\nYou may come from a large technology company, a consultancy, a scale-up or a startup where you have helped build new platforms, products or capabilities from the ground up. What matters most is your ability to learn quickly, simplify complexity and turn ambitious ideas into solutions that work.\nResponsibilities\nLead technical sales conversations with customer technical and business decision-makers, using consultative discovery to understand requirements and connect technology decisions to business outcomes.\nDesign and recommend secure, scalable, resilient, and governed Data & AI architectures across database, analytics, data engineering, integration, and AI scenarios.\nLead architecture sessions, technical workshops, demonstrations, rapid prototypes, proofs of concept, MVPs, and pilots to validate solutions and influence technical decisions.\nWork hands-on with customers to address technical requirements, resolve blockers, and guide the modernization and migration of database, data, and analytics workloads.\nBuild trusted relationships with customer architects, engineers, developers, data leaders, and business decision-makers, acting as a technical advisor throughout the sales and solution lifecycle.\nCollaborate with Microsoft account teams, specialists, Solution Engineers, engineering teams, customer success teams, and partners to develop technical plans and support successful implementation and adoption.\nMaintain and grow technical expertise across Data & AI and cloud technologies, sharing customer insights, technical knowledge, and reusable practices with the wider Solution Engineering community.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nTechnical pre-sales, technical consulting, technology sales, solution engineering, technology delivery, or equivalent experience.\nExperience working with database solutions, analytical workloads, data engineering, or related Data & AI technologies in cloud or hybrid environments.\nExperience engaging with customers and technical and business stakeholders to understand requirements, communicate technical concepts, and translate customer needs into technical solutions.\nExperience delivering technical engagements such as architecture workshops, demonstrations, rapid prototypes, proofs of concept, MVPs, or pilots.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with cloud-based data platforms and technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure SQL, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Azure Cosmos DB, or comparable cloud data technologies.\nKnowledge of cloud architecture principles, including security, scalability, resiliency, governance, performance, and cost optimization.\nExperience designing or advising on end-to-end data architectures spanning operational databases, data integration, analytics, governance, and AI scenarios.\nConsultative technical selling skills, including discovery, active listening, storytelling, objection handling, and influencing technical and business decision-makers.\nSolution Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Denmark is kr 600,000.00 - kr 986,400.00 per year.
