We are looking for outlier engineers who:\nHave owned products end-to-end, from idea to production monitoring.\nHave managed live incidents, written post-mortems, and implemented long-term fixes.\nPassionate about delivering exceptionalproduct experiences and maximizing user impact, beyond just writing code.\nYears of experience don’t matter - what matters is the depth of ownership, incident handling, and product impact you’ve delivered.\nIf this doesn’t sound like you, no worries - Midas has other opportunities that may be a better fit.\nWhat You’ll Do\nBuild high performance, low latency, scalable web application for real-time trading and financial data.\nInvestigate and solve complex engineering problems across the frontend, APIs, and real-time data flows.\nContribute to technical decisions and continuously improve the performance, reliability, and maintainability of the platform.\nCollaborate closely with product, design, backend, and other engineering teams to build and evolve Atlas.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nStrong fundamentals and a solid understanding of the challenges involved in building reliable, performant web applications.\nGood problem solving and debugging skills, with a willingness to dig into unfamiliar or complex problems.\nA willingness to take ownership, learn quickly, and grow with the product and the team.\nAn interest in how engineering decisions affect performance, reliability, and user experience.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nNice to have\nUp to 5 years of professional software engineering experience.\nExperience building applications with React, Next.js, Redux, REST or GraphQL.\nExperience with real-time systems and high frequency data updates using technologies such as WebSockets or SSE.\nFamiliarity with financial systems, trading platforms, or market data.\nExperience with browser performance profiling and optimization.\nHow We Work\nFull ownership - you don’t wait, you solve.\nFirst principles mindset - you question assumptions and rebuild where needed.\nBalance speed & quality - you ship fast, but always clean.\nProduct mindset - you care about the user impact, not just the code.\n Calm under pressure - incidents happen;
