Salary listed reflects 2025/2026 Fiscal Year.\nPRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:\nSupports student learning by providing quality instruction for a variety of college-level foundational and advanced graphic design courses,including 2-Dimensional Design, introductory Graphic Design Skills, Typography, Publication Design, Digital Graphics, Advertising Design, andPortfolio.\nEstablishes clear course objectives; engaging class activities; effective presentations of learning materials; fair grading practices; timely responses to students; and a positive classroom atmosphere.\nHandles a teaching load of fifteen (15) contact hours per semester. Related responsibilities include maintaining five (5) office hours per week for student advisement and tutoring and participating in departmental, divisional, and College-wide activities.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\nBFA or similar professional degree in Graphic Design or a related field\nThree (3) years of substantial professional experience, supported by a strong professional portfolio (evaluated as equivalent to a Master’sdegree).
