Title\nAccountant\nJob Scope\nThe Accountant is accountable for processing, recording, updating and reconciling accounting transactions with accuracy and efficiency in accordance with the company methods and policies ensuring the integrity of accounting information.\nMain Duties and Responsibilities\nReview, input and control daily entries and transactions on the system and ensure all supporting documents are properly classified\nHandle, process and track various payments based on internal approvals through agreed on payment methods\nComplete journal entries and ensure proper reconciliation of accounts\nPrepare and reconcile the accounts payable and receivable\nRecord and maintain the reconciliation of prepaid and accrued expenses\nAssist in the processing of financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines\nHandle monthly, quarterly and annual closings in a timely manner\nCompute taxes and prepare tax returns as per country legislations and regulations\nHandle the daily management and inventory of fixed assets\nOrganize and maintain a proper archive system\nMaintain and reconcile the company petty cash\nPosition Requirements\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting\nExperience\nAt least 2 years of relevant experience in accounting within IT
