Performs work under minimal supervision and serves as a technical resource for enterprise network operations.\nESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:\nDesigns, configures, installs, maintains, and supports LAN, WAN, telecommunications, and related network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, cabling, ISP services, SD-WAN/MPLS, and associated technologies.\n\nImplements and maintains network standards, policies, procedures, and operational best practices to support secure and reliable network services.\n\nMonitors network health, performance, capacity, and availability; identifies issues and implements corrective actions to maintain operational stability.\n\nCollaborates with Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams to troubleshoot incidents, restore services, and improve overall network performance and security.\n\nPerforms lifecycle management activities including software upgrades, patching, hardware refreshes, validation, and decommissioning of network infrastructure.\n\nDevelops and maintains technical documentation, network diagrams, operational procedures, and support knowledge resources.\n\nSupports implementation and testing of network security, disaster recovery, business continuity, and resiliency solutions, including VPNs, firewalls, segmentation, and related technologies.\n\nIdentifies opportunities to automate recurring operational tasks and improve service delivery through network management and automation technologies.\n\nEvaluates and recommends network technologies, tools, and enhancements aligned with business requirements and industry best practices.\n\nParticipates in infrastructure projects, after-hours support activities, and 24x7 on-call rotation while supporting adoption of automation and AI-enabled operational technologies.\n\nSECONDARY DUTIES:\nProvides technical leadership and mentoring\nEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:\nBachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in information technology, computer science, networking, or related field; and typically five (5) or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Network and/or security certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred.\nCOMPETENCY and/or SKILL:\nComprehensive knowledge of enterprise networking concepts and operations, including routing, switching, WAN technologies, VPNs, firewall concepts, and network security fundamentals.\nStrong working knowledge of networking hardware and software such as Cisco UCS, Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching, firewalls, Citrix NetScaler, MPLS/SD-WAN, and related network technologies.\nDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network and telecommunications issues.\nStrong understanding of network monitoring, performance analysis, and capacity management practices.\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities while supporting enterprise network services.\nAbility to document and follow technical procedures, standards, and operational processes.\nAbility to work remotely to resolve issues and coordinate with multiple locations, including international sites, as required.\nAbility to participate in 24x7 on-call support rotations.\nStrong analytical skills for network troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.\nWorking knowledge of network monitoring tools, automation practices, and emerging AI-enabled operational
