Responsible for overseeing and leading the testing and inspection of products at various stages of production, compiling and evaluating quality and statistical data, and driving actions to maintain consistent, reliable products and processes.\nESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:\nResponsible for ensuring quality control activities comply with established company procedures, customer requirements, product specifications, and applicable business requirements.\n\nDaily involvement in making decisions and/or providing technical data for decisions that impact compliance with design specifications.\n\nDevelops, maintains, and improves site quality processes, procedures, and controls to support consistent product quality and continuous improvement.\n\nApply problem solving tools/skills to effectively investigate nonconformances.\n\nPlans and conducts the analysis, inspection, design, test, and/or integration to assure the acceptance of products or components.\n\nAdheres to sampling procedures and designs/develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating and reporting reliable quality data.\n\nActively engaged in conducting Gage R&R studies and maintaining associated measurement system data.\n\nResponsible for conducting calibration per schedule and the monitoring and recording of the data.\n\nAbility to lead a team and peers.\n\nVersailles site specific duties:\nResponsible to ensure that activities comply with all specified regulatory agencies (FDA, ISO, UL, CSA, etc.)\n\nParticipates and/or leads internal audits or external audits.\n\nSECONDARY DUTIES:\nApply Midmark Production System (MPS) concepts to identify and eliminate non-value added tasks and/or activities in the various areas of responsibility.\n\nAbility to understand documents related to engineering function. Documentation includes, but not limited to, layout drawings, detail drawings, assembly drawings, Bill of Materials, Change Orders, product and component test specifications and design records.\n\nActively lead or participate as a member of cross-functional product and process teams to acquire detailed product, process, and user knowledge.\n\nPerform statistical analysis of manufacturing and quality data; collect, interpret, develop SPC limits, organize results, and identify opportunities for improvement.\n\nAbility to support process qualification, capability studies, and associated quality activities.\n\nEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:\nAssociate Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field, with 1-2 years of experience in a quality, manufacturing, or engineering role and/or equivalent experience. Experience working within an ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 quality management system is preferred.\nCOMPETENCY and/or SKILL:\nOracle (ERP)\n\nMinitab\n\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nLeads and directs the work of other teammates and has full authority for personnel decisions.\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a teammate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
