Join us and let's Imagine a better way together.?\nJob Summary:\nThe Operator, Digital Press is responsible for all aspects of operating the digital printing equipment to production and quality standards. Presses that are included under “Digital Press”: Indigo, Wide Format, Dye Sublimation, Onset, Durst, Vutek, Spyder\n3rd shift hours: 10:30PM to 6:30AM\nJob Description:\nOperate digital print equipment and the software necessary for print operations. \n Complete jobs according to customer specifications in a timely and accurate manner. \nMonitor production output throughout the run for quality. \nPerform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal printing conditions. \nEnsure materials for the job are in stock and available for production. \nProperly document production information to account for all labor and materials consumed on a job. \nMaintain a clean and organized work area. \nProperly execute pressroom Safety Procedures.\nAct as a resource to Apprentice and Feeder.\nTroubleshoot with the help of the Lead Operator .\nWork overtime as needed. \nOther duties as assigned. \nRequirements\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent.\nProficient in computer applications, including Mac and Windows operating systems.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION\nPrevious print industry experience.\nExperience using an ERP system.\nEnglish proficiency is preferred to support job specific operational training and instruction requirements, workplace safety, and effective employee collaboration in a fast paced, changing environment. Many safety protocols, emergency instructions, and operational documentation are provided in English. Clear communication among team members during production activities is essential to maintain efficient workflow, adapt to changing requirements, prevent accidents, ensure compliance with safety standards, and maintain efficient workflow.\nKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS\nGood written and oral communication skills.\nAbility to follow documented procedures.\nAbility to read and understand oral/written instructions proficiently.\nAbility to read and understand tape measure and other measuring equipment.\nMath skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions.\nReliability through attendance, punctuality, and attention to workstation.\nDemonstrate a positive safety attitude.\nWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nFrequent walking and standing.\nManual dexterity for repetitive work.\nFrequent reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and stooping.\nChemicals: Yes\nAbility to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.\nAbility to visually inspect all work for defects and distinguish color.\nPAY STATEMENT\nThe national pay range for this role is listed in the job posting.
