You’ll work on core platform improvements, reliable data pipelines, modern data tooling, and lower-latency analytics foundations that support the next stage of company growth. This is a high-ownership role for someone who brings strong engineering fundamentals and wants to shape how data engineering is done as the team scales.\nYou will:\nDesign, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python, SQL, Snowflake, Dagster, dbt, and AWS.\n\nOwn end to end data engineering projects from ingestion through to analytics enablement.\n\nDevelop and optimise reliable SQL based data models.\n\nHelp build a stronger staging and testing environment for data changes before production.\n\nImprove monitoring, alerting, and data quality across key pipelines.\n\nContribute to CDC and lower latency data movement initiatives.\n\nWork closely with Product, Analytics, Engineering, and business stakeholders.\n\nParticipate in code reviews and help raise engineering standards across the team.\n\nPair with other engineers where needed and support more junior team members as the team grows.\n\nThe next Midniter:\nHas strong data engineering experience and can operate at senior individual contributor level.\n\nBrings strong software engineering foundations and production-grade engineering habits.\n\nIs highly capable with Python and SQL in real data engineering environments.\n\nHas experience with modern data tooling such as Snowflake, dbt, Dagster, Airflow, AWS, or similar.\n\nUnderstands data modelling principles and can apply them pragmatically.\n\nCares about testing, monitoring, alerting, and data quality.\n\nThrives in a startup or scale-up environment with high ownership and ambiguity.\n\nCommunicates clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nWinnings\nPrivate health insurance with zero excess, including optical cover and optional dental.\n\nIncome protection to protect your earnings and give you peace of mind.\n\nTenure holiday policy.
