MIDROC Construction is dedicated to delivering high-quality projects that adhere to international standards, contributing to Ethiopia’s urbanization and overall development.\nThe OpportunityRole Overview: Key Impact:\nKey Performance Indicators\nTimeliness of purchase processing and delivery follow-up.\n\nCompetitiveness and completeness of quotation comparisons.\n\nCompliance with procurement approvals and procedures.\n\nAccuracy of purchase orders and procurement records.\n\nSupplier delivery performance and resolution of procurement issues.\n\nWhat You’ll DoKey Responsibilities:Task Breakdown:\nProcess approved purchase requests and obtain compliant quotations to support timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, supplies, tools, and services.\n\nReceive and check approved purchase requisitions for completeness, specifications, budget, and authorization.\n\nRequest quotations from qualified suppliers and prepare comparative statements.\n\nFollow up on purchase orders, delivery dates, backorders, and supplier documentation.\n\nCoordinate with requesting departments, stores, finance, and logistics to confirm requirements and delivery.\n\nMaintain procurement files, supplier records, purchase registers, and correspondence.\n\nFollow company procurement procedures, ethical standards, and conflict-of-interest requirements.\n\nJob RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.\n\nYears of Experience: Typically 3–4 years of purchasing or procurement experience\n\nSalary: We offer a competitive salary as per company salary scale.\nBenefits: Benefits and other conditions as per company HR policies and applicable law.\nWork Location: This position is based at assigned project office, with travel to project sites as required.
