This role facilitates clinical, administrative, and multimedia operations by delivering a secure and robust IT environment, resolving network and multimedia issues efficiently, and ensuring adherence to healthcare IT standards and regulations.\n\nMajor Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities\n\nNetwork and Multimedia Systems Design and Implementation\n\nDesign, deploy, and configure network infrastructure and multimedia systems, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.\n\nImplement network components such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points, as well as multimedia systems for hospital communications and patient care.\n\nNetwork and Multimedia Systems Maintenance and Optimization\n\nMonitor and maintain network performance, including multimedia systems, to ensure minimal downtime and optimal efficiency.\n\nRegularly test and troubleshoot network and multimedia issues, performing necessary updates and upgrades.\n\nMaintain detailed documentation of network and multimedia system configurations, inventories, and workflows.\n\nSecurity and Compliance Management\n\nImplement and manage network and multimedia system security protocols to safeguard sensitive patient and hospital data.\n\nConfigure and monitor firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), VPNs, and multimedia security systems.\n\nEnsure compliance with healthcare regulations and enforce data protection policies across networks and multimedia systems.\n\nTechnical Support and Troubleshooting\n\nProvide advanced support for network and multimedia-related issues, working to resolve problems promptly and efficiently.\n\nCollaborate with IT and clinical teams to resolve cross-functional network and multimedia challenges.\n\nAssist end-users with network and multimedia access or connectivity issues.\n\nProvide prompt first-line and advanced technical support to hospital staff, clinical teams, and administrative end-users for network, desktop, hardware, software, and multimedia systems.\n\nVendor and Service Provider Liaison\n\nCollaborate with external vendors and service providers to maintain and support network infrastructure and multimedia systems.\n\nEnsure timely service delivery and optimal performance through effective vendor management.\n\nMonitoring, Reporting, and System Improvements\n\nUse monitoring tools to proactively identify and address network or multimedia system issues.\n\nGenerate reports on network and multimedia performance, usage, and security, providing insights for management and recommending system improvements.\n\nDisaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning\n\nImplement and maintain disaster recovery plans for network and multimedia systems to ensure business continuity.\n\nConduct regular backups and system tests to minimize data loss in the event of a failure.\n\nAbout You\n\nMinimum Specification\n\nEducational Qualification and Work Experience\n\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).\n\n3+ years of experience in network administration, preferably in a healthcare setting.\n\nKnowledge and Skills Requirements\n\nStrong knowledge of network protocols, architecture, and hardware (e.g., TCP/IP, VLAN, DNS, DHCP).\n\nExperience with network security tools and concepts (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS).\n\nFamiliarity with healthcare IT standards and regulations.\n\nCertifications such as CCNA, CCNP /multimedia certifications are highly preferred.\n\nExcellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.\n\nTechnical Skills:\n\nStrong knowledge of networking protocols and infrastructure hardware (TCP/IP, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, switches, routers, firewalls, wireless APs).\n\nProficiency with video editing and graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent).\n\nHands-on proficiency with photography equipment, video recording gear, lighting, and audio recording techniques.\n\nExperience with digital asset management, media archiving, and
