In this role, you will take ownership of complex testing activities, investigate technical issues, identify quality risks, and improve testing practices.\nYou will collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and international teams, combining hands-on testing expertise with strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to quality.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPlan, design, and execute functional, integration, regression, exploratory, and end-to-end tests for iOS and Android applications.\nReview requirements, identify potential quality risks, and contribute to clear acceptance criteria.\nEnsure appropriate test coverage for complex features involving mobile applications, connected devices, cloud services, and backend systems.\nPerform hands-on manual testing and execute existing automated test suites, analyzing results and investigating failures.\nTroubleshoot complex issues related to device connectivity, communication, data synchronization, and system integration.\nAssess testing results, communicate quality risks, and provide recommendations to support release decisions.\nCollaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve defects.\nPropose and implement improvements to testing processes, tools, and overall test effectiveness.\nUse AI-assisted tools to improve test analysis, defect investigation, and testing efficiency.\nShare knowledge, support colleagues, and contribute to continuous improvement within the QA team.\nKey job requirements:\nAt least 5 years of professional experience in software quality assurance, with focus on mobile application testing for iOS and/or Android.\nStrong knowledge of testing methodologies, test design techniques, defect management, and risk-based testing.\nSolid hands-on experience with manual, exploratory, integration, and end-to-end testing.\nExperience with mobile debugging tools, application logs, and network analysis.\nGood understanding of client-server architectures, APIs, and backend integrations.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nExperience working in agile, cross-functional development teams.\nFamiliarity with AI tools and their practical application in software testing.\nAbility to independently manage testing activities, assess risks, and contribute to technical decisions.\nProactive, collaborative mindset with strong communication skills.\nGood written and spoken English.\nNice to have:\nExperience testing IoT products, connected devices, or smart home applications.\nKnowledge of Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and device connectivity protocols.\nFamiliarity with mobile automation frameworks such as Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest.\nExperience executing automated tests, analyzing results, and investigating failures.\nExperience with API testing, CI/CD pipelines, and automated test reporting.\nExperience testing device pairing, firmware updates, connectivity recovery, and synchronization.\nKnowledge of mobile performance, accessibility, or security testing.\nExperience with monitoring and diagnostic tools such as Sentry.\nGerman language
