This role ensures that all materials, components, and finished products meet global safety, EMI/EMC, and certification standards while supporting supplier qualification, quality improvement, and production line setups for high-volume consumer electronics.\nThe candidate will work closely with engineering, operations, and quality teams to ensure that compliance, reliability, and manufacturability are embedded throughout the product lifecycle.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Compliance & Certification (Primary Focus)\nIdentify applicable global regulations, standards, and directives for new and existing products (RoHS, REACH, WEEE, CE, FCC, BIS, EMI/EMC, etc.).\nEnsure product and component compliance for safety, environmental, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC/EMI) requirements.\nPrepare and maintain technical documentation, certification files, DoCs, and test reports across all geographies.\nLiaise with third-party labs, consultants, and certification agencies for product testing, validation, and regulatory approvals.\nMonitor regulatory updates and assess their impact on existing SKUs, suppliers, and new developments.\nEmbed compliance and safety requirements early in the product design and sourcing cycle (DFMA/pre-compliance stage).\nManage product lifecycle compliance including PCN/EOL documentation, material declarations, and change control.\n2. Supplier Quality & Audits\nConduct supplier and factory audits to evaluate quality systems, process capability, and compliance readiness (ISO 9001, ISO 14001).\nVerify material and component quality through inspection, documentation checks, and qualification processes (PPAP/FAI).\nLead CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) for supplier non-conformities or audit findings.\nSupport production line setup, validation, and process improvement during new product introductions (NPI) and mass production.\nCollaborate with quality teams to define inspection standards, incoming QC SOPs, and reliability test procedures.\n3.
