In this position, you will be responsible for leading the global controllership function, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, and partnering with leadership to translate financial insights into operational and strategic business decisions.\n\nWork You’ll Do:\nAct as a strategic business partner to the CFO and Operating Leadership Team, leveraging financial data to drive performance and decision-making.\nTransform financial results into actionable insights, including margin trends, pricing realization, cost discipline, and working capital optimization.\nLead global monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accurate and timely consolidated financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP.\nOversee global consolidations across regions, including intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, and purchase accounting.\nPrepare executive-level reporting packages for senior leadership, sponsors, and lenders; clearly communicate performance drivers and variances.\nServe as the company’s technical accounting expert on complex matters such as ASC 606, ASC 842, business combinations, and impairment analyses.\nOwn and manage the external audit relationship, ensuring clean and timely audits and resolution of audit findings.\nDesign and enhance a robust internal control environment aligned with SOX-equivalent standards.\nLead and develop the global controllership organization, including regional and plant controllers and shared services teams.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives across accounting processes, systems, and close cycle efficiency.\nPartner with IT and Finance Systems to improve ERP and consolidation platforms through automation and standardization.\nCollaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Commercial Finance, and Operations Finance to maintain a unified financial perspective.\nSupport strategic initiatives including M&A, capital allocation, and sponsor reporting requirements.\nQualifications:\nMust have:\n15+ years of progressive accounting and controllership experience, including global manufacturing environments.\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\nActive CPA certification.\nDeep expertise in US GAAP with experience in multinational, multi-entity structures.\nDemonstrated success leading global close, consolidations, and external audit processes.\nProven leadership experience managing high-performing accounting teams across multiple geographies.\nExperience designing and operating a strong internal control environment (SOX or SOX-equivalent).\nStrong ability to partner with business leaders to drive measurable performance improvements.\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial topics to non-financial stakeholders.\nNice to have:\nMBA or Master’s in Accounting (MAcc).\nBig Four (or equivalent) public accounting background.\nExperience in a private equity-backed or sponsor-owned environment.\nPrior Global Controller or Controller experience in a similarly complex organization.\nExperience supporting M&A activity, including diligence and integration.\nFamiliarity
