In this position, you will develop and test control-system software for industrial machinery, working across PLC-based machine controls and HMI applications.\nWork You’ll Do:\nDevelop and test control-system software for industrial machinery.\nDesign, build, and maintain features on existing control platforms.\nDevelop PLC and machine-control software using Structured Text, C, C++, and related programming languages.\nDevelop and support web-based HMI applications using technologies such as JavaScript, C#, and HTML.\nTest software directly on machinery and troubleshoot interactions between software, controls, and mechanical systems.\nCollaborate with global engineering teams to design, review, and release software.\nIntegrate controls and software with equipment and systems from outside vendors and suppliers.\nFollow software architecture standards, coding guidelines, and development practices.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related field.\nSoftware development experience through professional work, co-op, internship, or other relevant experience.\nExperience with PLCs, machine controls, embedded systems, industrial automation, or related applications.\nProgramming experience with two or more of the following: IEC 61131-3 Structured Text, C, C++, C#, Python, or JavaScript.\nExperience developing or working with HMI/user interface applications preferred.\nExperience with motion control or robotic automation preferred.\nB&R Automation Studio and/or Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 experience preferred.\nAzure DevOps, Git, source control, or CI/CD experience preferred.\nExperience with industrial communication protocols such as EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, PROFINET, Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT, or serial communications preferred.\nEmbedded Linux development experience preferred.\nModel-based development experience preferred.\nExperience with AI-enabled engineering tools preferred.\n#LI-KH1
