The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data migration strategies, ETL development, data transformation, data quality management, and Python scripting. Experience migrating data from legacy or third-party platforms into Salesforce is highly desirable.\n\nThe candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, developers, and QA teams to ensure successful planning, execution, validation, and deployment of data migration activities.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead and manage end-to-end data migration projects, including planning, design, execution, validation, and post-deployment support.\nAnalyze source system data structures and map data to target applications.\nDesign, build, and optimize ETL pipelines for large-scale data extraction, transformation, and loading.\nDevelop reusable migration frameworks, scripts, and automation utilities.\nCreate and maintain data mapping documents, migration runbooks, and reconciliation reports.\nPerform data profiling, cleansing, standardization, and validation activities.\nCollaborate with business and technical teams to define migration requirements and acceptance criteria.\nEnsure data quality, integrity, completeness, and compliance throughout migration cycles.\nTroubleshoot migration issues and implement corrective actions.\nLead mock migrations, cutover planning, and production deployments.\nMentor junior team members and establish migration best practices.\n\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\n\n6 to 7 years of hands-on experience in Data Migration, Data Integration, or ETL Development.\nStrong experience designing and implementing ETL pipelines.\nProficiency in Python scripting for data extraction, transformation, validation, and automation.\nHands-on experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.\nExperience in data mapping, data profiling, reconciliation, and migration testing.\nKnowledge of data quality and data governance best practices.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.\nExperience working in Agile delivery environments.\n\nGood to Have\n\nExperience migrating data from legacy systems, ERP, CRM, or custom platforms into Salesforce.\nFamiliarity with Salesforce Data Loader, Bulk API, Data Import Wizard, or related Salesforce migration tools.\nExperience with cloud-based integration platforms and ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, MuleSoft, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or similar.\nKnowledge of Salesforce data model and CRM business processes.\nExperience with data warehousing and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).\nSalesforce certifications or relevant integration certifications.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.\nExperience leading migration workstreams in complex enterprise transformation programs.\nAbility to manage multiple migration cycles and coordinate cross-functional teams.\n\nCompensation\n\nEstimated Pay Range: \n\nExact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.\n\nOur Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion\n\nAt Milestone we strive to create a workplace that reflects the communities we serve and work with, where we all feel empowered to bring our full, authentic selves to work.
