A clean MVR, active driver's license and reliable transportation is required.\nHelp make a positive impact in your community!\nMillennium Health LLC is an accredited specialty laboratory with more than a decade of experience in medication monitoring and drug testing services, helping clinicians monitor use of prescription medications and illicit drugs supporting improved clinical decision-making as part of treatment for millions of Americans with chronic pain, mental illness, and substance use disorders.\nThe Specimen Collector II is a key role at Millennium Health. As our representative, this position provides exemplary care and exceptional customer service to patients, clinicians, and our laboratory.\nCollect patient blood, urine and/or oral fluid (saliva) specimens \nProcess and package collections for shipping \nServe as an intermediary between the practice / clinic and the laboratory \nRecord patient information, physician order details, and pertinent laboratory information \nResolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information in ordering portal \nOrder and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite \nObserve collection for Millennium Health specimens (when applicable) \nDriving from/to multiple facilities may be required and occasional overnight coverage. \nRequirements\nIdeal Candidate:\nCertified phlebotomist with 1+ year experience in the field (experience considered in place of certificate) \n6+ months of experience as a specimen collector or 1+ years of experience in the medical field, directly supporting patients preferred \n2+ years of customer service experience can be considered in place of medical experience \nDemonstrated ability to navigate a smart phone and computer required \nValid driver’s license required; reliable transportation\nMedical insurance/billing and/or familiarity with medications/diagnostic codes is a plus \nHigh School diploma or equivalent required \nPhysical requirements: sitting 60%, walking 20%, standing 20%, lifting up to 20 lbs\nThis position requires regular travel. In accordance with federal travel regulations, all employees must possess a valid REAL ID or an acceptable alternative form of identification to comply with government travel guidelines.
