Discover how transformative growth accelerates impact.\nMeet the Team\nThe Legal Department provides legal advice and guidance globally across all aspects of Millennium’s business and operations. The team manages the legal aspects of firm initiatives and a broad range of legally intensive projects, partnering across the organization and overseeing relationships with external legal advisors worldwide.\nAs an Associate General Counsel, you will focus on negotiating arrangements with portfolio managers, both internal to Millennium and with external capital allocations, as well as separate account, management and bespoke fund agreements, and other similar transactional and related regulatory work. As a member of our legal team, you will have significant exposure to the sophisticated legal framework of asset management and would collaborate with many other departments across the firm.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead the negotiation and execution of portfolio manager agreements, including arrangements for internal and external portfolio managers \nDraft, negotiate, and advise on separate account, investment management, bespoke fund, joint venture, seeding and other agreements supporting portfolio manager onboarding and capital deployment\nProvide legal guidance on governance, contractual rights, and regulatory considerations related to capital deployment with portfolio managers\nManage multiple concurrent processes, coordinating closely with senior management and stakeholders across the firm\nIdentify, assess, and resolve legal and regulatory issues, escalating matters appropriately\nSupport additional Legal Department projects, including capital formation initiatives and the development of policies and procedures\nWhat You Bring\nAt least seven years of experience in an investment management or related practice at a prestigious law firm or within the legal department of an investment adviser;
