Discover how transformative growth accelerates impact.\nMeet the Team\nMillennium’s Equity Capital Markets team sits within Execution Services and supports the firm’s activity across a broad range of equity and structured capital markets transactions. The team evaluates and executes opportunities in public and private markets, including initial public offerings, primary and secondary equity offerings, block trades, convertible bonds, equity-linked transactions, private investments in public equity, SPACs, private placements, and other private-company capital solutions. Beyond transaction execution, the team represents Millennium in the market and develops relationships with public and private companies, investment banks, financial advisors, sponsors, and other market participants. The team works closely with trading teams, portfolio managers, and internal control and support functions across the firm.\nWhat You’ll Do\nSupport Millennium’s global structured capital markets activity, with a primary focus on convertible bonds and related equity-linked and structured transactions.\nEvaluate and execute convertible bonds, PIPEs, SPACs, private placements, and other equity-linked or structured transactions.\nSupport all stages of transaction execution, including issuer review, valuation and terms analysis, internal approvals, investor feedback, documentation coordination, and bank and syndicate management.\nPartner with Equity Capital Markets colleagues and portfolio managers to identify, assess, and advance potential transaction opportunities.\nDevelop and maintain issuer-targeting tools, transaction-precedent databases, market intelligence, and reverse-inquiry materials.\nAnalyze market conditions, transaction structures, and potential opportunities in support of the broader Capital Markets team.\nRepresent Millennium in meetings with companies, investment banks, advisors, conferences, and other market-facing forums.\nDevelop and maintain relationships with ECM, convertible, syndicate, and sales and trading professionals at leading banks.\nCoordinate throughout the transaction lifecycle with investing, execution, legal, tax, finance, operations, risk management, compliance, Equities Management, and SPM teams.\nWork across global time zones and coordinate effectively with regional teams and stakeholders.\nWhat You Bring\nBachelor’s degree required.\nFive to ten years of relevant experience in investment banking, equity capital markets, convertible or equity-linked capital markets, or related sales and trading roles.\nExperience with convertible bonds, equity-linked products, PIPEs, private placements, or other structured transactions strongly preferred.\nStrong understanding of equity capital markets transaction processes, including execution, diligence, and coordination among external and internal stakeholders.\nStrong analytical, financial, and transaction-management skills, including financial-modeling capability.\nAdvanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.\nExceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior internal and external professionals.\nAbility to manage multiple live transactions and competing priorities with precision, urgency, and sound judgment.\nDemonstrated maturity, professionalism, and a collaborative working style.\nHigh attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.\nStrong understanding of risk, controls, and compliance requirements within a financial-services environment.\nSalary Range\nMillennium offers a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and comprehensive benefits. The estimated base salary range for this position is $160,000 to $250,000 which is specific to New York and may change in the future.
