Within HR, the People Operations team is responsible for driving and executing processes that are efficient, effective and consistent, helping ensure a strong experience for candidates, new hires and employees while maintaining high standards of people data quality and operational excellence.\nWhat You'll Do\nServe as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, processes, and employee lifecycle matters while delivering a high-quality employee experience.\nLead the coordination and facilitation of New Hire Orientation, ensuring a seamless, engaging, and compliant onboarding experience for new hires.\nProvide proactive, high-touch support to employees throughout onboarding and beyond, managing inquiries and cases with professionalism, empathy, and accountability.\nAct as a Tier 2 escalation point for complex employee questions and issues, using sound judgment and HR expertise to identify solutions and drive resolution.\nBuild strong partnerships across the business and with key stakeholders, including Legal, Immigration, Information Technology, Talent Acquisition, and Payroll, to support employee needs and business priorities.\nMaintain accurate employee records and case documentation, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and compliance across Workday and other HR systems.\nAnalyze trends in employee inquiries and operational processes to identify opportunities to improve service delivery, increase efficiency, and enhance the employee experience.\nChampion a service-oriented approach, balancing employee advocacy with business needs while maintaining discretion and confidentiality, and collaborate across the People Services and People Partnering functions to deliver seamless employee support as business needs and priorities evolve.\nWhat You Bring\nBachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of professional experience in an HR function or in an event coordination role with program or event management experience.\nAbility to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, with a strong sense of urgency and excellent time management.\nStrong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a high level of ownership over the quality and accuracy of your work.\nProfessional, service-oriented communication skills, with the ability to build credibility and manage stakeholders effectively.\nCollaborative approach and willingness to support others, balanced with the ability to work independently and execute reliably.\nAbility to handle sensitive information with a high degree of discretion and confidentiality.\nContinuous improvement mindset, with the ability to support transformation efforts and contribute to more effective processes.\nExperience with new hire onboarding and HRIS platforms, including Workday, is preferred; experience in financial services, process improvement, and Microsoft Office applications is a plus.\nSalary Range\nMillennium offers a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and comprehensive benefits. The estimated base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $160,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future.
