The role will have exposure to a broad range of products traded at Millennium, including interest rate derivatives, credit products, bonds, and FX instruments (both cash and derivatives).\nPrincipal Responsibilities\nWorking with Portfolio Managers and other internal teams to automate and streamline existing processes, reduce operational risk and increase the speed and efficiency of the trade capture process.\nBroader T0 tasks: Ensuring that the Middle Office provides timely, best in class service to stakeholders, supporting the business with evolving initiatives and demands.\nTrade Queue: Monitoring and timely clearance of trade exceptions generated by new bookings.\nMiddle Office Inboxes: Monitoring and timely resolution of queries from Portfolio Management teams and counterparties.\nElectronic Affirmation: Working with onshore/offshore teams and counterparties to match and resolve economic breaks.\nNon-electronic Affirmation: Ensuring that risk on trades that do not flow through an electronic platform have been appropriately addressed and mitigated.\nT+1 Support: Providing support to remediate issues from the previous day in a timely manner and informing impacted parties.\nEscalation: Escalating process failures or potential issues to relevant stakeholders and senior management.\nGlobal Model: The MO operates a 'follow the sun' model, so clear communication and handover of tasks and responsibilities to each region is essential.\nFirm Support: While the primary focus is supporting Portfolio Managers during trading, there is a wider responsibility to work with all teams to ensure accurate and timely trade capture daily.\nImprovements and Initiatives: Identify and document pain points and areas of process improvement.
