Duties will include coding, development, configuration, integration, and troubleshooting of Salesforce applications and related technologies as listed below.\nThe Associate Salesforce Developer will also field and resolve usage issues and perform other duties as assigned that are in line with the role of responsibilities and required for the business. This role transcends organizational and geographical boundaries as it aims to support and enable the various divisions of the MillerKnoll business across the globe. The ideal candidate should understand the software development lifecycle and use Agile methodology to design, develop, test, and implement solutions that deliver end-user needs.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop, implement, and maintain Salesforce customizations, applications, extensions, and integrations.\nDevelop applications using Lightning Web Components (LWC), Lightning Experience, JavaScript, Apex, and other Salesforce development technologies.\nEnsure the availability and stability of the Salesforce platform and provide on-call support to resolve application issues.\nParticipate in the planning and analysis of business requirements for system changes and enhancements.\nCreate testing and implementation plans, including user training, UAT, and documentation.\nRemain current with Salesforce technologies, platform capabilities, development standards, and best practices.\nRequirements\nA minimum of 2-4 years of hands-on experience developing on the Salesforce platform and its associated technologies in a large-scale enterprise environment.\nExperience with Salesforce development and customizations, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Lightning Experience, Salesforce Flow, Visualforce and related technologies.\nStrong knowledge of Salesforce configuration, including User Setup, security and sharing, profiles and permission sets, Flow, approval processes, App Manager, Case Management, Entitlements, Assignment Rules, Experience Cloud, queues, reports, dashboards, and related Salesforce capabilities.\nExperience with JavaScript, XML, JSON, FTP, SOAP, REST.\nExperience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud environments.\nExperience with legacy Salesforce technologies is a plus\nExperience with APIs and system integrations.\nExperience with Git and relational databases preferred.\nExperience integrating Salesforce with NetSuite is a plus.\nAssociate Software Engineer - Salesforce\nLocation: Bangalore - India\nExperience with Commerce Cloud, Zeta Platform (ESP), and Dell Boomi/AWS is a plus.\nExperience working on an Agile development team, preferably using SCRUM.\nExperience with software development outside of the Salesforce ecosystem is a plus.\nExcellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.\nStrong organizational skills to deal with a varied workload and be responsive to the needs of the business.\nStrong problem-solving and systems analysis skills.\nUnderstand the necessity of and contribute to efficient coding standards.\nDemonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) around all key technical decisions during project delivery.\nAbility to effectively use office automation, communication, software and tools currently used in the HMI office environment\nMust be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without supervision\nThis role will work in the shift timings of 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. or 2:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M. IST. The employees could be requested to work in a different shift on rare occasions to support the business during a critical issue or for any releases/migrations that maybe scheduled. Location of work is Bangalore, India.
