And our success allows Maharam to support causes that align with our values, so we can build a more sustainable, equitable, and beautiful future for everyone.\nJob Summary\nWith minimal supervision, handle all aspects of inbound and outbound logistics regarding domestic and international shipment activities.\nEssential Functions:\nProduce documentation, track shipments, and communicate with forwarders and customs brokers\nOversee Logistics coordinators and work produced\nTraining for the Logistics Department personnel\nAll HR responsibilities for direct reports, hiring, discipline, check ins, etc.\nResponsible for ensuring that all documentation is accurate and complete with freight forwarders\nPrepare freight quotes for all types of freight\nCoordinate import and export (ocean/air) shipments; arrange LTL & FTL shipments\nCoordinate weekly consolidations from our warehouse to key customers and provide support to Sales Support team\nReview, log and approve freight invoices\nAssist various departments with coordination of delivery of MRO\nKey POC for escalated issues\nReconciling of any Logistic cost invoices\nTimely response within SLA for all JIRA tickets\nFollow-up and resolve International and Domestic shipment issues\nOversight and trouble shooting of both UPS and Fed Ex ship stations\nConduct various analyses for logistics optimization and cost-savings efforts\nPrepare and maintain various reports\nAssist with additional duties as assigned\n Magnitude and relationship reporting\nThis position reports to the Senior Director, Fulfillment\nContacts inside and outside the organization\nThis position has contact with our Sales, Resource Management, Warehouse, Facilities, Samples, Credit and Product Management. Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business/organizational needs and market factors .
