And our success allows Knoll to support causes that align with our values, so we can build a more sustainable, equitable, and beautiful future for everyone.\nPOSITION SUMMARY\nCandidate will program and operate CNC woodworking machinery, as well as finishing and assembly of components as required.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nPrepare and Operate CNC machines to perform a variety of tasks\nUnderstand specifications of the task and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, etc.\nTranslate instructions into computer commands to enable the machines to perform the correct function\nPrepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines\nConduct a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications.\nSet machines to complete full cycles to fabricate a large number of parts\nSupervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result\nInspect and measure finished products to ensure the process has been completed properly\nCheck and maintain machinery daily to ensure optimum functionality\nREQUIRED SKILLS:\nTwo year associates degree preferred\nBackground in woodworking field preferred REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:\nProven experience as a CNC operator preferred\nPrior skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling preferred as well as precision measurement tools\nAbility to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings\nMechanical aptitude and excellent math skills.\nBasic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM preferred\nWho We Hire?\nSimply put, we hire qualified applicants representing a wide range of backgrounds and abilities.
