Perhaps you’ll be thriving at NaughtOne soon.\nNon-Upholstery Assembler\nJob Description | NaughtOne Factory, Birstall\nRole Summary\nWe are seeking an experienced Non-Upholstery Assembler to join our manufacturing team at the NaughtOne factory in Birstall. The role is responsible for assembling furniture and furniture frames safely, accurately, and efficiently to produce high-quality finished products that meet customer requirements and production deadlines.\nKey Details\nLocation\nNaughtOne factory, Birstall\nReporting to\nFactory Manager\nEmployment\nFull-time, 37.5 hours per week\nWorking hours\nMonday-Thursday, 07:00-14:30; Friday, 06:00-11:30.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssemble furniture and furniture frames in accordance with drawings, specifications, standard operating procedures, and product labels.\nProduce accurate, high-quality work within agreed production schedules and customer deadlines.\nInspect work in progress and finished products, identifying and reporting defects or quality concerns.\nUse air-powered frame guns, pneumatic tools, power tools, and hand tools safely and correctly.\nFollow all health and safety procedures and help maintain a safe, clean working environment.\nWork flexibly across production activities and complete reasonable tasks assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.\nCollaborate with colleagues and other departments to communicate requirements and resolve production issues.\nContribute proactively to continuous improvement initiatives.\nEssential Skills and Experience\nAt least one year of experience in joinery, furniture assembly, frame assembly, or a similar manufacturing role.\nExperience working to targets in a busy, fast-paced production environment.\nAbility to read and follow drawings, specifications, labels, and standard operating procedures.\nGood numeracy and literacy skills, ideally to GCSE standard in Maths and English.\nStrong attention to detail and a consistent commitment to product quality.\nClear communication skills and the ability to understand requirements from other teams and departments.\nPhysical stamina for a production role, including occasional heavy lifting.\nFlexibility to support different tasks and changing production priorities.\nDesirable\nA joinery or relevant manufacturing qualification.\nPersonal Attributes\nTakes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.\nPositive, practical, and proactive approach.\nReliable, punctual, and committed.\nWorks effectively as part of a team.\nManages time well and maintains performance under production pressure.\nShows the energy and endurance required for a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nPhysical Requirements\nThis role involves standing for extended periods, using production tools and equipment, and occasional heavy lifting.
