This position ensures products are produced safely, accurately, and efficiently while meeting company quality standards and production schedules.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nSet up and operate CNC routers, machining centers, and related equipment.\nLoad materials and programs into CNC machines according to production specifications.\nRead and interpret blueprints, work orders, engineering drawings, and production schedules.\nVerify machine settings, tooling, and material dimensions before production.\nPerform first-piece, in-process, and final quality inspections using measuring tools.\nMonitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain product quality and efficiency.\nReplace tooling and perform routine machine maintenance as required.\nIdentify and troubleshoot minor machine issues and notify maintenance or supervision of major equipment problems.\nMaintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.\nFollow all safety procedures, quality standards, and housekeeping requirements.\nAssist with continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and waste reduction.\nWork collaboratively with supervisors, engineers, maintenance, and other production team members.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nPrevious CNC machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.\nAbility to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings.\nBasic computer skills and experience entering production data.\nStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, tape measures, and gauges.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods.\nFrequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to bend, stoop, twist, and reach throughout the workday.\nAbility to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to wood dust, machine noise, and varying temperatures.\nMust wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience operating CNC routers using software.\nKnowledge of CNC programming fundamentals.\nSuccess Factors\nThe successful candidate demonstrates a strong commitment to safety, consistently produces quality work, maintains reliable attendance, communicates effectively with team members, and takes pride in producing precision wood products that meet customer expectations.\nWho We Hire?\nSimply put, we hire qualified applicants representing a wide range of backgrounds and abilities.
