Responsible for investigating and processing quality related claims, entering replacement orders, issuing credits, entering Charge Backs, maintaining the QA library, perform lab responsibilities, and additional job-related duties.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nCollect all necessary data and documentation to effectively analyze quality related claims across all our textile brands\n\nWork diligently with internal staff, sales and our resources to resolve issues in products that do not meet our standards\n\nEnter replacement orders and follow-up to ensure inspection\n\nProcess Charge Backs and batch to Accounting\n\nProcess returns authorizations including documents, call tags, and pick -up requests\n\nIssue credit memos to our clients\n\nAssist in the inspection process for new receipts against our established standards- lot Control\n\nMaintain the QA library for approved standards and memos for all products\n\nManage cuttings and spreadsheets for our Underwriters Laboratory recognition program\n\nReview commercial matches utilizing a light box\n\nEnter and monitor all JIRA requests that warrant QA assistance\n\nAdditional duties as assigned.\n\nMAGNITUDE AND RELATIONSHIP REPORTING:\nThis position will report to the QA Supervisor.\n\nCONTACTS INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE ORGANIZATION:\nThis position typically has contact with all employees at all levels of the organization internally. It also has direct contact with resource personnel, clients, and contractors.\nKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS\nBasic knowledge of textiles with the ability to recognize color and differentiate shades, inherent nuances a plus.\n\nCut, weigh and record fabric swatches\n\nAbility to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision\n\nHandle claims resolutions efficiently with strong follow-up skills\n\nOrganized with attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment\n\nStrong communication skills both verbal and written\n\nWorking knowledge of MS Office specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.\n\nAbility to understand internal QA Procedures\n\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\nAn associate’s degree in textiles is preferred\n\nHigh school diploma required\n\nTextile manufacturing experience preferred\n\nWho We Hire?\nSimply put, we hire qualified applicants representing a wide range of backgrounds and abilities. Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business/organizational needs and market factors .
