This role blends deep manufacturing process knowledge with hands-on programming and ERP technical expertise to support both day-to-day production needs and strategic transformation initiatives.\nThe role operates independently, partners closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations teams in East Greenville, and serves as a technical subject-matter expert within the JDE World and manufacturing systems landscape.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nDesign, develop, test, and support software solutions supporting manufacturing, plant operations, and supply chain processes.\nProvide hands-on technical support and enhancements for JDE World, including manufacturing, inventory, costing, order processing, and reporting functions.\nDevelop, maintain, and optimize custom JDE World programs, reports, interfaces, and batch jobs.\nTranslate shop-floor and business requirements into technical designs, system configurations, and production-ready code.\nAnalyze current-state (“As-Is”) manufacturing and JDE World processes and design future-state (“To-Be”) solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and reliability.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex production-critical issues impacting JDE World transactions, integrations, and manufacturing execution.\nSupport ERP upgrades, patches, integrations, and modernization initiatives involving JDE World and downstream/upstream systems.\nParticipate in testing activities including unit testing, integrated testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production validation.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, program specifications, and operational support materials.\nMentor and provide technical guidance to junior analysts and developers; perform code reviews as appropriate.\nCollaborate with infrastructure, database, and integration teams to ensure system stability, performance, and data integrity.\nPerform additional responsibilities as required to support manufacturing operations and business objectives.\nTECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE\nStrong experience supporting JDE World in a manufacturing environment.\nHands-on programming experience within ERP and manufacturing systems.\nRPG experience is a strong plus, particularly within JDE World or manufacturing ERP environments.\nExperience developing JDE World reports, batch processes, interfaces, and custom enhancements.\nSolid understanding of manufacturing business processes, including production, inventory management, costing, and order execution.\nExperience working with ERP transactional data, master data, and production data.\nProficiency with SQL and relational databases.\nUnderstanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) in an enterprise manufacturing context.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.\nTypically 7+ years of progressive experience as a Programmer Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.\nDemonstrated experience supporting manufacturing plants and JDE World systems.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.\nAbility to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a production-critical environment.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for manufacturing and business partners.\nIP3 CAREER LEVEL ALIGNMENT\nSenior-level individual contributor with deep domain expertise.\nOwns and executes work independently within the manufacturing / JDE World domain.\nManages defined systems, applications, or processes end-to-end.\nProvides mentoring and technical guidance without formal people management responsibilities.\nWho We Hire?\nSimply put, we hire qualified applicants representing a wide range of backgrounds and abilities.
