This role combines software engineering with product configuration, 3D visualization, and business logic to create intelligent digital representations of commercial furniture products.\nWorking as part of a cross-functional Agile team, the Software Engineer partners with Digital Product Management, QA, and Delivery Management to deliver new product introductions, enhancements, and ongoing platform improvements.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain CET software extensions using object-oriented programming principles.\n\nDevelop configurable product logic supporting visualization, specification, pricing, bill of materials, and manufacturing rules.\n\nCreate and maintain intelligent 2D and 3D product representations.\n\nTranslate business and product requirements into scalable, maintainable software solutions.\n\nParticipate in Agile development activities including planning, estimation, code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams across North America, Europe, and Asia to support product launches and enhancements.\n\nTroubleshoot software defects and implement quality improvements.\n\nContribute to engineering standards, development practices, and technical documentation.\n\nQualifications\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline OR equivalent experience.\n\nMinimum of four (4) years of professional experience developing software using object-oriented programming languages such as C#, C++, Java, or similar technologies.\n\nSkills & Abilities\nStrong understanding of object-oriented design principles, software architecture, and modern software development practices.\n\nExperience with source control systems and Agile development methodologies.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\n\nExperience developing applications or extensions for CET Designer (Configura) preferred.\n\nExperience developing CAD, 3D visualization, or product configuration applications preferred\n\nKnowledge of commercial furniture, manufacturing, or engineering systems preferred\n\nExperience working with globally distributed development teams. preferred\n\nWho We Hire?\nSimply put, we hire qualified applicants representing a wide range of backgrounds and abilities.
